Role Description
As an ALDI Senior Truck Driver (CDL-A), you operate heavy commercial tractor-trailers handling high-priority store deliveries and mentor incoming drivers on fleet safety and store delivery procedures. This position is 100% physical and strictly requires full on-site driving presence (zero remote capability).
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial motor vehicles safely across assigned regional store routes.
- Perform comprehensive pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, auditing safety compliance digitally.
- Deliver palleted grocery shipments to store docks safely using electric pallet jacks.
- Monitor multi-temperature reefer trailer controls to guarantee cold-chain food safety compliance.
- Mentor newly hired commercial drivers on ALDI store delivery protocols, dock maneuvering, and safety rules.
- Maintain exact digital logbook records for hours of service (HOS) and fuel audits.
- Reload empty pallets, returnable totes, and salvage packaging for transport back to the distribution hub.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age at the time of application.
